It’s important to first come up with a long list of things you really love talking about.

There are things you're good at talking about and things you love talking about.

You really want to focus on topics that are more general. An example of a topic that may not be good for public consumption might be Star Trek. Star Trek is very specific. Science fiction is more general, and would be a better conversation topic.

1) TV

Here’s something that may surprise you…

You shouldn't talk about TV for the first three times you meet a person.

Now, I understand that the world we're in now, a lot of people watch TV. (Especially right now, when we’re stuck at home!) But don’t talk about TV at all for the first three conversations.

Even if it's her favorite conversation.

Here’s why…

When you are talking with a woman, you are actively working towards a goal. The goal is a relationship, or at least a sexual relationship. That means that all these conversations have that goal in mind.

When you're talking about TV, unfortunately, the image they have is of you sitting on a couch doing nothing.

You want to make a connection, and leave them thinking of you doing something interesting and active…
